Laura is accredited to undertake the full range of civl and commercial mediations as well as workplace and employment mediations.  She is a faculty member of the London School of Mediation and heads up the mediation team at the chambers of Jacob Levy QC, 9 Gough Square, London.

Laura is a barrister with over 20 years' experience, specialising in personal injury, clinical negligence and employment law claims.  She has considerable experience of cases involved catastrophic injury and complex medical evidence.

In her employment sphere, she has acted for both claimants and respondents in the public and private sectors. She has appeared in complicated and lengthy employment tribunal claims.  She has particular expertise in areas involving overlap between personal injury and employment law matters, most relevant to stress at work and disability discrimination.

Clients value her attention to detail; the ability to quickly get to grips with knotty legal and factual issues; and her warm interpersonal skills.

After many years at the coal face of litigation, Laura is firmly committed to promoting and engaging in mediation as a highly effective alternative.

Education

Laura studid for a BA in Modern History before converting to law and studying to be a barrister. She was called to the Bar in 1996.  In 2018, she trained as a mediator with the London School of Mediation and joined the Faculty shortly thereafter.

Personal

Laura used to enjoy good food, beautiful beaches and yoga.  These days, she spends most of her free time running around after her son.
