Judith Kelbie is founder and a Director of the London School of Mediation.
She is an active mediator in addition to leading the course for over a decade. Judith is passionate about mediation and regularly mediates seemingly intractable disputes.
She has written and delivered courses including open, in-house and specialist and these have been delivered to various audiences, both within the UK and abroad. She was recently involved in training the Cayman Islands Judiciary and has taught in India, New Zealand and Ireland, to name a few.
She is particularly skilled in multi-party mediation, the largest to date involving 26 participants. She mediates internationally and regularly speaks on mediation at conferences and events. She has also co-authored the Mediation Handbook.
Judith was for 6 years an independent elected board member of the Civil Mediation Council. She chaired the academic committee responsible for standards in mediation.
Judith is happy to discuss any bespoke requirements you may have for in-house courses. She is currently working on a range of very diverse and interesting projects in Greece. She is as equally happy to discuss open courses with potential delegates whom may wish to know more before booking.

John is CEO and Director of the London School of Mediation and an International Commercial Mediator based in London.
Splitting his time between his home in Yorkshire and his work in the City, John spends much of his time working on the development of a variety of International Mediation Projects including South Africa and UAE. As a mediator John's particular interest lies in commercial disputes to which he is able to apply wealth of experience gained from his background as a Director for a number of leading UK and International businesses.
John's background includes running a major airline and as Chief Operating Officer of a Global Insurer. It was at the latter where he first came across mediation and was impressed by the difference it could make to both businesses and individuals involved in a dispute. Following training as a mediator John has been keen to apply his skills to commercial disputes and to promote mediation in all its form whenever he can.
In addition to his role as CEO, John regularly appears as a tutor on LSM courses and would be delighted to discuss the courses, or options for new courses, at any time.

Lizzie Haynes is a Family and Civil & Commercial mediator, Director of LH Family Mediation, part of the faculty of London School of Mediation (LSM) teaching and assessing and a Barrister (non practising).
She previously practiced for over 2 decades as a Dental Hygienist in both private practice and for the NHS before being called to the Bar in 2007. She began mediating in Civil & Commercial disputes during that same year and later undertook additional training in order to conduct Family Mediations.
Tessa Herman is an experienced personal injury solicitor, mediator and trainer based in Yorkshire. She has a particular interest in brain & spinal injury cases having specialised in catastrophic injury cases during her 14 years with Irwin Mitchell solicitors.
Tessa is an accredited mediator having qualified in May 2014 with LSM and is happy to mediate any case. She now regularly appears as a tutor on LSM courses.
In addition to mediation, Tessa regularly provides training as a consultant, to a wide range of organisations in the areas of expert witness work and investigative interviewing and complaints handling. Tessa also provides a legal consultancy service to law firms, assisting them with their complex injury cases.
Steve has 30 years’ experience on Senior Management Teams in both public and private sectors, including nine years as Vice Principal of Kirklees College. He was a key player in developing and implementing strategic priorities, which included multi-million Pound efficiency savings, a merger with a local college and major capital builds. Heading up a team which completely replaced and updated all of the management information systems over a period of two years from 2009 to 2011, he developed international business agreements, and most importantly, ensured that the 20,000 students received a quality experience to enable them to reach their full potential.
Having trained and qualified as a Civil and Commercial Mediator with LSM in September 2011, Steve is regularly in attendance on our courses in either a teaching or assessing capacity.
Vasiliki holds a Masters degree in International Commercial Law and has worked for 11 years in this field. Despite that she followed her interest and combined Mediation through her legal experience.
Her interest in Mediation steered her towards getting involved in cases of Commercial and Civil Mediation, Family Mediation, Peer Mediation and Workplace Mediation that she has truly succeed.
Vasiliki is a member of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Greece as a member of the Mediators of ACCI she has been authorized to give seminars and lectures for online dispute resolution in commercial and industry cases.
She is also a member of the Union International des Advocates (UIA) and taking part in several seminars and forums around the world. She speaks fluently English and French.
