This half day course provides newly accredited mediators with the knowledge to market their mediation practice, the administration required for practice, and the ongoing requirements for fluency and accreditation.
A must for all new mediators. This course will help you to take the first steps in setting up your mediation practice. Highly practical with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get "know how".
This half day course runs in the afternoon after the mediation observation for those who wish to do both on the same day.
A member of the LSM faculty, who is a practicing mediator, will take delegates through the following:
Marketing: Identifying your product, placement and pricing.
Insurance: What you need and where to get it.
Administration: The documents you need for practice - mediation email, required information form, the agreement, invoicing, feedback form, complaints procedure.
Mentoring and supervision: What you need and when to use it.
Regulatory: Professional bodies, ICO, GDPR, What to keep and what to destroy.
Developing your skills: Maintaining fluency, developing skills, CPD.
